FEES
Medical treatment in the UK can be expensive and the cost of your treatment will be dependent on your treatment and duration.
These costs include cost of consultation with doctors, nursing care, hospital stay and any investigations/procedures you may have.
PRIEST Medical will ensure transparency in the cost of its operations.
Please click on the questions below.
You will need to contact PRIEST Medical for a general consultation from which an estimation of the cost of your treatment can then be made.
How do I pay for my treatment?
|
If you decide to go ahead with treatment with PRIEST Medical, we then ask you to let us have full payment on or before admission.
PRIEST Medical will negotiate direct settlement arrangements with consultants and hospitals only with which we will have prior arrangements.
If you are paying your own account then you will normally be required to make a payment before treatment.
PRIEST Medical accepts cash, all major credit cards and bankers' draft. Unfortunately we are sorry that personal cheques are not accepted.
Why do I have to pay for my treatment in full?
|
We at PRIEST Medical along with our consultants and affiliated hospitals realise that the cost of healthcare may be daunting especially when the bill has to be settled immediately.
While majority of clients are able to meet the financial obligations, there is the risk that some clients, especially those who do not reside in the UK to default on their payments leaving all parties involved in their care with bad debts.
The PRIEST Medical full payment before treatment has been quite popular amongst all our clients, consultants, hospitals and other stake holders in addressing this delicate issue
Any unused funds (for example in cancelled operations) will be refunded to our clients after the relevant administrative charges; hospital and investigation costs and consultation fees have been deducted
Where do I send my payment?
|
PRIEST Medical does not accept any postal payments.
What about consultants' and/or hospital fees?
|
All medical fees relating to specialist consultations and treatment are separate from the hospital charges.
PRIEST Medical will settle these directly with your consultant. |
Will my insurance cover me?
|
PRIEST Medical is not in a position to deal with clients with medical insurance at this time |
What if my company is settling my account?
|
PRIEST Medical has credit arrangements with some companies.
In such cases the patient must provide a letter of authority from the company (WHICH WILL BE VERIFIED USING AGREED PROCEDURES) authorising performance of the tests or treatment to be carried out.
|
What about the extras bill?
|
By extras bill we mean those personal items not covered in your medical invoice, for example guest meals, telephone charges and newspapers you have consumed while in hospital. These will be charged to your account for payment before leaving hospital.
These will have to be covered directly by yourself, as these charges are not in your contract with PRIEST Medical.
The hospital may require further payments on account should the patient's treatment be longer than the anticipated. We will keep you informed at all stages if this applies to you. |
