HEALTH SCREENING SERVICE
As medical science advances it is becoming easier to screen effectively for an increasing number of illnesses.
Screening is designed to meet the needs of anyone who requires a better understanding of their own health, allowing you take positive steps to avoid or defer the onset of certain illnesses.
It is tailored to your age, sex, family history, lifestyle and any concerns you may have about your health.
Screening involves a consultation covering lifestyle, occupation and medical history, including family history.
The output from the health screening will include a full medical report. You may also be referred for further specialist screening or referral to specialist services for further management.
We offer various types of screening as listed below
- Standard Health Check
This covers the most basic of your health screening such as height/weight and body mass index (BMI), blood pressure checks, general examination of the major organs such as the heart, lungs and abdomen.
We will also conduct investigations on the urine and blood to assess the kidney, liver and thyroid functions and test for diseases such as diabetes mellitus.
It is our most popular health assessment and it is the standard screening requirement recommended for all patients who register with PRIEST Medical.

- Well Man Health Check
This health screen contains testicular and prostate physical examination, prostate cancer blood test screen in addition to the standard health check.

- Well Woman Check
This health screen includes breast examination, mammogram (if over 40 years and for a separate fee) and cervical smear in addition to the standard health check. HPV test and osteoporosis screening (DEXA)) can also be included if required (for a separate fee)

- Executive Health Check
Tailored to the busy executive exposed to stressful situations and hectic lifestyle and work schedule. This is a comprehensive and advanced assessment. It includes ECG (standard and exercise testing if indicated), cholesterol and lipid blood testing, abdominal ultrasound in addition to the standard and well man/woman check.

- Over 60s Heath Check
Tailored for our elderly population, this comprehensive test includes an extended consultation with PRIEST Medical expert GP to discuss your concerns and health profile. It includes a detailed assessment of the vital organs of the body including thyroid and prostate in men and mammogram in women for an extra fee
